Tourists In Malta Increase By 13% From October Last Year

The number of tourists who visited Malta in October increased by 13.2% compared to last year’s numbers.

The total inbound tourists for October 2024 was estimated at 355,561. Total nights spent amounted to 2,216,919, and total expenditure almost reached €356.5 million.

The largest share of guest nights (87.1%) was spent in rented accommodation establishments.

Inbound tourists for the first ten months of 2024 amounted to 3,108,352, while total nights spent almost reached 20 million.

Total tourism expenditure for the period between January and October of this year was estimated at €2.9 billion, while expenditure per capita stood at €936.
