A special thrift pop-up event will be held over two days in Gżira later this week, with all proceeds dedicated to supporting the Richmond Foundation.

The Maltese NGO that has been at the forefront of combating mental health stigma, raising awareness, and promoting mental well-being in the community for the past 30 years.

The event will take place on Friday 29th November, and Saturday 30th November, from 12pm to 8pm, at the Mount Carmel Band Club in Gżira.

Building on the success of last year’s event, which was hosted at The Mill – Art, Culture, and Crafts Centre (MACCC) in Birkirkara, organisers hope to raise even more funds for this important cause.

The pop-up offers an eco-friendly and charitable way to refresh your wardrobe or shop for meaningful Christmas gifts. Shoppers can browse through a selection of pre-loved clothing, accessories, and books, discovering unique treasures while supporting a vital organisation.

Hosting the event on Black Friday provides an opportunity to embrace a sustainable and socially conscious alternative to fast fashion, reducing environmental impact while making a difference in the community.

Attendees are encouraged to bring their own shopping bags to support sustainability efforts. Payments by card will be accepted for purchases over €10, ensuring convenience for all shoppers.
