Two People Hospitalised After Early Morning Collision In Birkirkara

Two people have been hospitalised after an early morning collision in Birkirkara.

The accident occurred at 5.30am in Sir Anthony Mamo street between a motorbike and car.

The motorbike was driven by a 57-year-old man from Msida which collided with a Nissan March car driven by a 25-year-old woman from St Paul’s Bay.

All who were involved in the accident were taken to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance and a woman that was in the car is being treated for shock.

The police told Lovin Malta that it is not yet known whether this woman was the driver or passenger in the car. As for the motorbike driver, his condition is still unknown.
