‘Wake Gafa-ck Up’: Occupy Justice Send Message To Police Commissioner Following Vitals Appeal Court Ruling
Occupy Justice sent a powerful message to Police Commissioner Angelo Gafa’ when it put up a sign at the Malta Police Force Headquarters yesterday evening.
The activists are asking Gafa’ to “wake up from his slumber” and arrest the people responsible for the Vitals Deal after Monday’s Appeal Court ruling.
It stressed the urgency of addressing the corrupt and fraudulent deal and called for resignations at the very least.
The group’s message to Commissioner Gafa’ was crystal clear: “Wake up and do your job” and it also put a banner with the words “Wake Gafa-ck Up”.
“Protect the public from the false representatives of the people who have colluded with white collar criminals, with the sole objective of robbing the electorate blind. Polish your badge and prosecute the real traitors of the Maltese people,” Occupy Justice wrote on its page.
Occupy Justice also honoured the memory of Daphne Caruana Galizia, acknowledging her as the first journalist to uncover the fraudulent hospitals deal and emphasising that justice for her and her stories is still pending.
The activists took their message to Castille as well, holding a banner depicting Joseph Muscat, Konrad Mizzi, and Keith Schembri alongside the words “The real traitors of Malta”.
“We demand that Commissioner Gafa’ take action, starting with the arrests of Joseph Muscat, Konrad Mizzi and Keith Schembri, so that Malta’s once-good reputation may start the journey towards restoration after years of filth,” the activists added towards the end of their statement.
“We expect better. We deserve better. We demand better,” Occupy Justice finished its message.
