Watch: 17-Year-Old Kacey Sciberras’ Teachers And Classmates Gather For Touching Vigil At ITS

17-year-old Kacey Sciberras’ teachers and classmates gathered at ITS Malta today for a touching vigil marking her untimely death.
Photos and videos from the vigil sent to Lovin Malta show many people gathering to remember her existence, in a bitter-sweet showcase of flowers, speeches, and photos of Kacey.
The ongoing tribute is happening at the Green Area and Assembly Hall of ITS Malta, where the young girl was studying.
Tourism Minister Clayton Bartolo was also present for the vigil.
Lovin Malta spoke to Andrè Borg, who is the Pulse ITS Co-ordinator, who described Kacey as an amazing, charismatic, bubbly, and outgoing individual.
“Her memory will last with us forever at ITS. She will be remembered for the voice she gave students through the work of the ITS student council. It’s a shame that another person is lost through a lack of road safety enforcement, encouraging all to drive cautiously.”
Kacey tragically lost her life this weekend after being involved in a fatal accident along the Central Link road in Attard.
Since then, many people around Malta have issued their heartfelt tributes to the active teenager, who was loved and cherished. Her father also spoke out today, saying how Kacey was “their flower who has now joined other flowers in heaven”.
Rest in peace Kacey
