The Malta International Airshow 2025 soared into action yesterday at Luqa, drawing aviation fans from across the islands for a jaw-dropping spectacle of military and aerobatic prowess.
While the skies delayed the first performances by 30 minutes, organisers ensured the brief pause kept pilots safe and the displays crystal clear for the crowd. Once underway, the excitement was palpable.
The show featured the much-awaited return of the Red Arrows, alongside stunning routines by German Eurofighters, Tornado jets and a Turkish F-16 team that had spectators holding their breath.
On the ground, aviation enthusiasts got up close to a range of aircraft at Safi Aviation Park and the easyJet Engineering apron, making it a perfect blend of high-flying drama and hands-on exploration.
Despite the short delay, the energy didn’t waver as pilots executed breathtaking manoeuvres against Malta’s iconic coastal backdrop.
