Business owners located in Attard ended up stranded after the ground floor of the building flooded during Malta’s latest torrential rain pour.

Footage sent to Lovin Malta shows rainwater gushing into the ground floor of the complex, leading to the owner and clients not being able to leave until it calmed down.

“People were coming up all wet and we had to help them and dry all their contents in the tumble drier while their appointments were being fulfilled,” a business owner told Lovin Malta.

“By the end of it people couldn’t enter or leave the building to come for meetings or appointments and work was at a loss,” they said, detailing that the water was rising.
