Watch: CPD Controlling Mrieħel Rubbish Fire
The Civil Protection Department (CPD) is currently on site in Mrieħel trying to control a rubbish fire in an empty plot.
Footage sent to Lovin Malta by @agestudioaudiovisual shows firemen gearing up before they brace the flames in an attempt to control them. CPD told Lovin Malta that this is most likely a rubbish fire.
Police officials are also on site for traffic management while ambulances are present in case of any injuries.
