Watch: D’Amato Records’ Damaged HMV Sign Taken Down For Repairs

Article Featured Image

Last week, the oldest HMV sign in the world was damaged due to nearby works with a crane.

Yesterday, D’Amato Records posted a video on Instagram of the sign being taken down with the caption ‘An end of an era’.

D’amato tagged @prevartiltd, an art conservation and restoration company based in Malta, so fear not, the sign will be restored!

Confirmation of this can be found in the comments after someone asked whether the sign was to be repaired, which the D’Amato Records Instagram account replied “yes :)” to.

Share the good news with someone who was upset about it last week!
