A bull ray was filmed by Alex Boulton during one of his dives in Malta.
Boulton is a reel creator who enjoys free-diving on the side. In fact, this is not the first time that he documented* the majestic creatures of the deep. In his other videos, he’s filmed colourful fish, dolphins and the beautiful underwater world.

Bull rays, or aetomulaeus bovinus, are critically endangered in Malta and throughout the Mediterranean Sea. They are even listed on the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) Red List of threatened species.
