Local legend Freddie Portelli recently wowed Malta with his appearance on TikTok, going viral with his first post in just hours.
Portelli gained a lot of attention locally with his first TikTok video, with his well-known song, ‘Mur Ħallina’, a favourite and classic among Maltese households.
In the video, Portelli is first seen looking at the camera through his shades, before he starts dancing with his wife.
The TikTok garnered over 57 thousand views, with over 2,000 reactions.
The people of Malta have widely reacted to the video, with many referring to him as a “legend”, describing him as “iconic” and “king of Malta”.
Through the video and his new platform, Portelli is also promoting his upcoming show, “Il-Kbir Għadu Ġej”.
