“Żnuber Tower was recently renovated by the Park and we will take any action needed to safeguard this piece of National Heritage. Our Rangers will increase their patrolling night time no matter weather,” the HPF Ranger Unit said on social media.
Meanwhile, the ranger unit has advised the public to avoid stepping in the area until further notice while also thanking them for the prompt alert.
They’ve also assured that work to clean up the site will soon begin.
“All Stakeholders and Authorities are now informed and the Park Management will as soon as possible start the work to clean up the site,” they continued.
“We will continue to patrol the area and do our utmost to protect the environment and the National heritage within the Park.”
