Malta’s Got Talent return last night also saw the return of the coveted Golden Buzzer, this time thanks to the show’s host Gianni Zammit.

The top honour went to 41-year-old contemporary circus artist Ignazio Grande, who put on a mesmerizing act.

Ignazio performed an incredible and passionate balancing act that had all four judges impressed – but Gianni even more, with the host rushing out from behind the stage to shower him with praise and confetti.

“Because this is something so original, so difficult,” Gianni told the contestant in Italian ahead of his Golden Buzzer.

“I can’t even balance on a hammock without falling, and you did something so beautiful up there,” he said.

Did you think this performance deserved the golden buzzer?
