Watch: ‘If They Were Innocent, They Wouldn’t Be In Court,’ Terry Ta’ Bormla Says About Ex-Politicians Accused In Vitals Case

Lovin Malta’s Clara Sciberras ran into Terry ta’ Bormla doing some errands outside of the Law Courts in Valletta, coincidentally ahead of Edward Scicluna and Chris Fearne’s arraignment in connection with the Vitals Global Healthcare inquiry conclusions.
When asked about her thoughts on the case, Terry quickly said if people like Joseph Muscat and Konrad Mizzi were completely innocent, they wouldn’t be in court in the first place.
“If they’re innocent like they pleaded yesterday, then the courts, when they would’ve entered, would have told them to get out because your name isn’t on the list. But we’ll wait and see.”
Meanwhile, she did say it upset her that Fearne and Scicluna are part of the Labour Party, explaining that if it weren’t for these two heavyweights, the party wouldn’t have won.
“As you can see, there’s no one outside of the court but yesterday there was a big following for Joseph Muscat,” she continued.
When asked about who she’d vote for in the upcoming MEP election, Terry said Roberta Metsola, because she brought great honour to the country and she’s a Maltese woman.
Do you think the accused are innocent?
