Watch: ‘It’s Not For The Weak-Willed’ – Emily Jones On The Public’s Perception And Reality Of OnlyFans

OnlyFans content creator and body positivity icon Miss Emily Jones has addressed the public’s perceptions and the realities of actually having an OnlyFans account on the latest episode of The SHE Word.
Hosted by Trudy Kerr, the last episode for the main show’s third season featured content creators Miss Emily Jones, Undine Laverve, and Ana Klaro, discussing the realities of adult entertainment.
Asked on the perception of family and fans alike, Emily, who has garnered thousands of followers on Instagram for her body positivity content, explained how being present on OnlyFans is definitely not for the “weak-willed”.
She continued by expressing how one requires a “strong sense of self” in order to be comfortable with all that such exposure brings.
“Before I started I had sat down with my immediate family and discussed things with them and explained what I was going to be doing,” Emily said.
“I sat down and explained because I didn’t want anything to take anybody by surprise. I think the perception of things is a very important thing for people to take into account, and it’s important for people to bear in mind if they’re thinking of starting a career on OnlyFans or any kind of adult entertainment, that it’s not for the weak-willed,” she continued.
“Not for the faint-hearted,” Undine chimed in.
“You do have to do be somebody who has quite a strong sense of self, because a lot of people don’t like it, they think it’s embarrassing, they think it’s ridiculous, they think it’s dirty,” she said.
“People tend to hear OnlyFans and automatically think that you’re going to start a page and suddenly start making thousands and thousands every month. It’s really not the case.”
“It’s something that requires a lot of time, work, effort, and planning, promotion… it’s something that you’ve really got to put the effort in to see the reward.”
“And I’m not saying it can’t be rewarding, and obviously, personally I way prefer it to sitting in an office all day,” she said.
“It’s an enjoyable job, you make your own hours, you can put in as much as you want to get out, but you need to put something in there, to get something out.”
“You’ve got to do the work, you’ve got to do the promotion, and you’ve got to put yourself out there,” she concluded.
