Watch: Julia Wows Miss Universe Stage In Stunning Merill Costume

Julia Ann Cluett owned the Miss Universe stage with her latest costume embodying Malta’s national bird- Il-Merill (Blue Rock Thrush).

“Through this creation, Julia celebrates Malta’s heritage and the timeless connection between Malta’s people, land, and natural treasures,” wrote Miss Universe Malta on social media.

The Blue Rock is often seen perched on the sun-drenched cliffs overlooking the Mediterranean, this vibrant bird symbolises resilience, freedom and the unique natural beauty of the Maltese islands.

The incredible costume was made by Clinton Pepe Gauci Abela from Tarxien Carnival Company.

Julia will be facing the Miss Universe final on Thursday evening (Malta time).
