During her visit, together with Minister for Home Affairs, Security and Employment, Byron Camilleri, Abela greeted all those who work in the area and commended them on the results that have been achieved.

On a post on social media, she went on to reflect on how the renovation of the women’s visitation area is a step toward a better rehabilitation environment, but also toward a healthier and more dignified space for families during visitation.
