Watch: Magical ‘Tower Of Light’ Fireworks Display In Mqabba Mesmerises Onlookers
Mqabba’s majestic Tower Of Light finally returned last night after a long two-year hiatus, and their beautiful display did not disappoint.
The display left onlookers watching in awe with nearly 10,000 fireworks lighting up the sky of the small but mighty southern champion-town.
The show was organised by the Santa Maria Fireworks Association in Mqabba, one of Malta’s most dedicated and talented groups of firework enthusiasts, and this year, they raised the bar once again.
At almost 55 metres high, the tower took a whole year of preparation, and saw a number of synchronised fireworks that lasted a whole hour and a half.
The show was paired with some classic rock and pop tunes that only enhanced the audience’s experience.
This year’s show was a somewhat special one, as it marked the association’s 25th year of putting on shows synchronised with music, according to the Malta Independent. And the hard work was definitely noticed.
