“The Italian authorities are coming soon,” one of the crew members called out to the migrants.

They went on to share how they tried to reach out to the Italian authorities however haven’t received any news about the outcome of the boat that they encountered.

This story comes after the large number of migrants that arrived in Lampedusa last week which saw the tiny island’s population doubling in just 48 hours.

The group shared this experience with the hopes of raising some awareness about migrants and the difficulties they go through as they try to seek a better life.
