Watch: Maltese Fosterers Step In To Help Blind Pregnant Stray Cat In Montenegro
Maltese cat fosterers from Kitty Guardians for Strays recently stepped in to help a blind and pregnant stray cat which was found in Montenegro by a visiting woman.
In a video uploaded by the group, a young lady named Inka – who lives in Malta but is currently on holiday – can be seen interacting with the cat, who is in desperate need of eye surgery.
Kitty Guardians for Strays are now urgently appealing for any immediate help regarding the cat which is currently located in Budvar, Montenegro.
“Even though we’re a local NGO, we feel the duty and obligation to help any stray cat in need. We’re pleading for the help and generosity of the Maltese and Gozitan public’s donation so this sweet one and another fellow visit a veterinary clinic located in town as soon as possible,” the voluntary organisation said on social media.
“Unfortunately in that country, stray cats don’t seem to be a priority. Many innocent creatures are suffering terribly. Even though we can’t save them all, if we get to help one or two, why not?”
“Could be that hopefully in the near future, we’d welcome her amongst us here in Malta!” they said.
“We promise we’ll do everything in our power. From our hearts we beg you for assistance and also thank you for your kind support.”
