Watch: Maltese Woman Proposes To Girlfriend On Christmas Eve In Dreamy Festive Valletta
A Maltese woman who wanted to make her girlfriend’s Christmas Eve one to remember forever did just that – by asking for her hand in marriage in a dreamy festive Valletta setting.
Amanda Mousu proposed to her girlfriend Phyllisienne in front of a crowd of celebratory cheers at the Christmas-themed events held at Valletta’s Fairyland on Saturday.
“I wanted to give her the best proposal and show her how much she means to me in everything as she changed my world for the better and made me the person that I am today,” Amanda told Lovin Malta.
People thought they were in for Kurt Calleja singing on stage when the singer suddenly announced the couple’s names and asked them to go on stage, as a proposal started to unfold in front of everyone’s eyes.
The proposal was captured on video, as photos of the couple were projected onto the screen behind them while the pertinent question was asked.
“This has been a dream come true for me and I look forward to spending the rest of my life with her. I feel lucky and blessed that I found the love of my life that I want by my side for the rest of my life,” she expressed.
“I would like to thank the organisers of Fairyland Malta and Kurt Calleja for giving me the opportunity to propose to my girlfriend Phyllisienne on Christmas eve,” Amanda said.
