The Malta Police Force apprehended a man who was seemingly resisting their arrest in Paceville.

Footage sent to Lovin Malta in the early hours of this morning shows a man and police officials engaged in an altercation that began with shouting and ended with the man being forcefully put to the ground. He proceeded to kick the officials from the floor as they rebutted by hitting him in the knees with a baton.

“The man was rude to the police, I don’t know, the guy seemed to be on drugs or drunk and he started hitting the police car and the officers got out of the vehicle, they arrested him, they hit him severely,” a witness told the newsroom.
