Construction dust falling from the top of a crane has been coating its surroundings in Mosta for “over two weeks”, a resident told Lovin Malta.

The footage posted to Facebook by independent candidate Arnold Cassola shows a crane at the top of a block of apartments releasing clouds of dust during work.

“You can’t even open a window,” the caption, written by a resident and sent to Cassola, read.

“Government-contracted workers are building government flats in the housing estate of Malta,” the caption said.

“The BRO is informed about the disaster we are living in. A country of I’m all right f*** you jack.”

Besides this, Lovin Malta was sent a photo of a car blanketed by the dust. The Mosta resident explained that they’ve been living this situation for “over two weeks” before pleading for help.

Lovin Malta has sent questions to the Building and Construction Authority regarding this site.
