Local sport heavyweights Neil Agius and Fabio Spiteri will be embarking on a 12-hour non-stop charity swim to help families in need.

For every kilometre that the athletes swim, children will get free swimming lessons – thanks to public donations as well as help from sponsors.

The objective of this swim is to raise money for underprivileged children, granting them access to swimming lessons and the joy of sport.

“It’s not about records this time, we’re trying our best to change the lives of people in our community,” Spiteri said.

You can participate in this great cause by donating and swimming alongside these inspiring individuals.

This swim will take place on Sunday 14th April at Neptunes Waterpolo & Swimming Club, Balluta, between 7am and 7pm.

For participation details, message the pages of Eurosport Malta on their Facebook or Instagram accounts or contact them via email at [email protected].

More details on donations and participation will be released in the coming few days.
