Watch: Sarah Bajada Urges Domestic Violence Victims To Speak Up

Alex Borg’s partner, Sarah Bajada, took to social media to appeal for domestic violence victims to speak up and to ask for help.

In her video, Bajada used makeup as a tool to convey that it should be used solely as makeup—not as a way to cover up or mask the effects of physical domestic violence.

“My heart breaks for children who see acts of domestic violence in their homes. Children understand everything and they will grow up thinking that such behaviour is normal. But it isn’t normal,” said Bajada.

She invited her followers to take the first step and calling 179 which is the domestic violence 24/7 helpline.

Bajada went on to thank the authorities who support victims of domestic violence
