Watch: Sliema Resident Woken Up By Sound Of Excavation Work At 1Am
A Sliema resident has lamented the fact that she woken up at 1am by the sound of excavation works beneath her apartment in Manwel Dimech street.
Footage shared with Lovin Malta shows the drilling machine operating on the road just underneath the resident’s apartment. Alongside the driller, an excavator was gathering the chunks of road that had been broken up.

“A 1am alarm clock is not fun. I hope my kids won’t wake up petrified from the noise and vibrations. Surely this kind of work can be done at a more reasonable hour?,” the Sliema resident told Lovin Malta.
