Watch: Speeding Mercedes Overtakes Car Using Cycling Lane On Wet Coast Road
Recent dashcam footage captured a speeding Mercedes overtaking a car using the cycling lane on the wet coast road.
The driver himself sent the footage to Lovin Malta, showing the rear and front angles of the Mercedes overtaking him in a dangerous manner.
The ordeal occurred along a section of the coast road which is only one lane, hence why the driver used the narrow bike lane to overtake the driver.
One can only imagine what would have happened if a cyclist was making use of the cycling lane at that moment, with Malta’s roads already having a reputation for a lack of respect towards cyclists.
This is far from the first time that such shocking driving on Malta’s roads was captured by dashcam footage, indicating a high amount of dangerous drivers.
