‘We Want Truth And We Want Justice’: PN Urges For Information On Karl Gouder’s Death
The Nationalist Party has issued a callout for information regarding Karl Gouder’s passing in light of the request made by his family.
“If someone contributed to Karl Gouder’s death, they should face justice. Whoever they are, wherever they are from,” the PN wrote in a powerful statement.
Gouder’s family took to Facebook to plead for any information regarding the recent death of Karl Gouder, as police continue to investigate the situation further.
The Opposition Party, with whom Gouder was a longtime MP, released a statement in which they too urge the public to come forward with any relevant information.
“The tragic death of Karl Gouder has deeply wounded Karl Gouder’s family, his friends and colleagues, as well as the leadership and roots of the PN. This is a pain we will continue to live with, and we are determined to treat it as a daily reminder of the need to care for each other and for the society we form part of.”
“No one should be afraid to speak about what they know. The Partit Nazzjonalista will be a shelter and a source of support for those who choose to help in the search for truth and justice,” the PN promised.
“We expect and demand the same from the authorities and institutions of our country.”
“We demand that all the authorities and institutions in our country use the powers and resources at their disposal to uncover what led to the tragic death of Karl Gouder.”
“In this tragic situation, we understand that it is in the interest of everyone involved in public life to discover the truth.”
The official statement closes off by reiterating the party’s intention behind the demand.
“We want justice, not revenge. The Partit Nazzjonalista firmly believes that justice is a virtue essential for the well-being of all of us living together.”
