Woman Tragically Murdered In Birkirkara Identified As Nicolette Ghirxi
The woman who was killed in the early hours of this morning in her home has been identified as Nicolette Ghirxi by Net News.
According to the news site, the suspect was her ex-partner.
Ghirxi was allegedly killed in her apartment this morning at 2am by an Irish man who used what seems to be a knife and then fled the scene.
The murder happened on Triq Maestro Giuseppe Busuttil.
The man then fled to St Julian’s where he was located by police. He got to the rocky coast in Paceville before a pointing a weapon at officials.
He was shot dead.
TVM News stated that there are no known domestic violence reports between the two parties. However, the Times of Malta wrote that the woman had filed a harassment report some time ago after the two broke up.
