Young Maltese Editor’s Eminem And Tupac Mash-Up Goes Viral on YouTube
A young Maltese editor, Jake Muscat, has created a mash-up of Eminem and TuPac’s songs which is going viral on YouTube.
At the age of 19, Jake has been working on his YouTube channel for about two years, mixing songs to create a blend of 90s rap with a modern twist.
The goal of his creations is to encourage people to contemplate the lyrics. He selects lyrics that he relates to or that he feels match the theme of the rapper’s message.
Muscat ensures a consistent upload schedule for his channel, drawing inspiration from several rap legends including 2Pac, Eminem, 50 Cent, and Biggie.
His most popular song combines Eminem’s ‘Mockingbird’ with Tupac rapping ‘Mamma’s Just A Little Girl’, quickly amassing 173,000 views on YouTube.

The teen makes sure all his released songs are original, as he handles the mixing personally. The process takes him around one to three hours, depending on the selected songs and necessary edits.
