ŻiguŻajg Returns With An Exciting Artistic Lineup For Kids And Families

Spazju Kreattiv has launched the ŻiguŻajg 2024/2025 Season, offering a rich programme featuring over 10 projects and collaborations with 35 artists.
Designed to immerse children, families, and schools in a world of creativity, the season includes theatre, cinema, workshops, and interactive experiences aimed at educating and inspiring young minds.
Among the season’s highlights is the Young Cavaliers Summer Theatre Programme, an immersive six-week experience introducing children aged 7 and above to storytelling, acting, and stagecraft.
Meanwhile, Kids Dig Science returns with its unique blend of puppetry and live performance, delving into exciting topics such as dinosaurs, robotics, and genetics in an engaging and humorous way.
ŻiguŻajg continues to champion inclusivity, with the TechRail production offering a multi-sensory theatre experience tailored for neurodivergent audiences.
The programme also features Be Kind, an international show that introduces babies to acrobatics and juggling, and the much-anticipated return of Chasing Rainbows, a vibrant and interactive performance for toddlers.
The film programme presents a selection of magical stories on the big screen, curated for families to enjoy together, while hands-on workshops such as papier-mâché mask-making and the ŻiguŻajg Art Jam – Summer Bootcamp offer children the chance to create and collaborate.
Artistic Director Daniel Azzopardi emphasised ŻiguŻajg’s role in making arts and culture a central part of Maltese society. “Through ŻiguŻajg, we strive to nurture the imagination of children and their families, showing how the arts can be a source of joy, connection, and inspiration.”
Executive Chairperson of Fondazzjoni Kreattività, Rupert Cefai, echoed this sentiment, stating, “The ŻiguŻajg strand is a celebration of the boundless potential within every child. By providing opportunities to engage with the arts, we help shape not only future audiences but future creators.”
