Have you ever wondered what it’s like to be a streamer or content creator?

A new unscripted reality TV series called House of Streams will be filmed in Malta and will be hosted by Nicole Holliday and Malta’s Kofi Browne

This new show will be filming in Malta throughout June 2023.

Producer Mark Holland explained to Lovin Malta that The House of Streams will take eight influential streamers/content creators from around the world and place them in a villa together for 14 days. During this time they will compete in a variety of live and online challenges with one person being crowned the winner of the House of Streams.

During their time in the House of Streams, they will live and eat together, build friendships, collaborate, and compete.

Whilst having a competitive element, House of Streams takes a deeper inside look into what it takes to be a streamer/content creator. What is the day-to-day process, how do they get into the mind frame, how did they start out, what are their goals and what challenges they face and overcome?

“We at House of Streams honour the enthusiasm, commitment, and creativity that drive the constantly developing world of online content creators – especially our faithful 8.”

“Our live and unedited program and subsequent on demand Reality Show will offer in-depth discussions with unexpected encounters and personal glimpses into the lives of these digital trailblazers, whose tireless efforts have revolutionised how we use and interact with the internet.”

House of Streams hopes to stand apart from other shows due to “its innovative blending of different filming styles”.

It will feature a live feed from fly on the wall cameras, allowing viewers to tune into the stream and view the house 24 hours a day, gaining an insight into the behind the scenes of the life of a streamer.

The house mates will compete in challenges, sometimes as individuals, sometimes as teams, and sometimes as a collective against the house itself.

These challenges will be live streamed via Twitch and YouTube, where the viewers will be able to leave comments and see their comments come up on screen in real time and see their favourite creators react together to their comments.

A team of camera operators will enter the villa at chosen times to capture different things such as interviews (via a host), challenges, planned activities etc.

These captured moments will form part of the eventual mini-series, of which the competitive element will serve as a series arc and goal for the participants. This series will be aired later in time via an online streaming medium.

For the participants, House of Streams varies from other shows in this genre by not banning contact with the outside world.

Whilst in the house, they will still be able to create content for their own platforms, stream at certain times of the day, interact with their fan-bases and do a majority of the things they would normally do in the daily process of being a content creator. Some of the filming will take place out of the house for activities and excursions around the island.
