New Karl In Town: F Living Show Overtakes Pjazza As Malta’s Most Followed TV Discussion Show
The F Living Show, the flagship programme of the F Living TV station, has officially overtaken Pjazza to become Malta’s most followed TV discussion show.
New ratings released by the Broadcasting Authority show that 4.1% of respondents ranked the F Living Show, which is presented by Karl and Romina Bonaci, as their favourite local TV programme, up from 2.8% last November.
This makes it the fifth most popular TV programme across all TV channels, behind only the TVM news bulletin, Liquorish, Noli and Moħħok Hemm, and the most popular discussion show.
It is a major achievement for the family-run F Living, which is competing against media houses owned by the state, PL and PN, which have way more resources at their disposal.
Pjazza, the ONE TV show presented by Karl Stagno Navarra, has slipped to second place in the discussion show rankings, with 3.4% of respondents selecting it.
NET Live, the PN media house’s flagship evening discussion show, is third at 1.7% and ONE TV’s Espresso fourth at 0.7%. None of the discussion shows on the TVMnews+ station could muster more than 1%.
Meanwhile, TVM reconfirmed its spot as Malta’s most popular TV station, with 47.9% of respondents stating they follow it, up 3.6 percentage points since last November.
ONE TV came in second at 25.6% (up 3.2% since November), foreign stations third at 34.4% (-9.2%), NET TV fourth at 12.4% (-0.4%), TVMNews+ fifth at 8.1% (+5.2%), and F Living sixth at 6.1% (+2.8%).
