Malta’s national broadcaster TVM has announced the launch of a new channel focused exclusively on sports.

TVMSport+ will broadcast several live sports games, including the BOV Premier League, the UEFA Champions League, the Europa League and the upcoming 2022 World Cup.

It will also include discussion shows about local football, as well as shows about rugby, waterpolo, motorsports, basketball, water-sports and horse-racing.

Viewers can also expect new programmes, including one dedicated solely to eSports.

TVMSport+ will be available on all basic TV packages and can be accessed via Channel 110 on Melita and Channel 107 on GO.

This is TVM’s second revamp in as many years – last year, it siphoned off most news, sports and cultural programmes into a new channel called TVMNews+, keeping the main TVM channel for drama and entertainment shows.
