A 10-month-old baby and a 20-year-old woman, possibly his mother, were rushed to hospital this morning after they were involved in a car crash in Paola. TVM reported that the accident occurred at around 10am in Triq Ħal Saflieni and that the driver of the second vehicle was a 69-year-old man from Tarxien. While he escaped unscathed, a 63-year-old woman who was in the passenger seat with him was slightly injured.

The baby’s and the young woman’s conditions are unknown at this stage.
