12-year-old Sharona Grima has been found after being missing for a total of eight days.

“Grima was found alive and well,” police said in a statement. The police would also like to thank the public for their help in locating the girl.

Police did not give further details on where Grima was found, only that she was found safe and sound.

Grima was initially reported missing to the police on 25th June. She had last been seen in the areas of Xagħra, Gozo, on 22nd June.
