13-Year-Old Cyclist Hospitalised After Traffic Accident In Żejtun
A 13-year-old cyclist has been hospitalised following a traffic accident in Żejtun.
In a statement, police said that the incident happened at 5pm along Triq Santu Wistin in the locality.
The accident happened after a car, driven. by a 34-year-old resident of Mosta, collided with the bicycle.
The young man received medical assistance on site and was rushed to the hospital.
He suffered grievous but not serious or life-threatening injuries.
A police investigation is underway.
