A 15-year-old boy was greviously injured after being hit by a car, due to a traffic accident.

Yesterday, at around 3.30pm, the Police were informed of a traffic incident on Pitkali Street, Attard.

From the initial reports, it was revealed that the 15-year-old resident of Attard had been hit by a Citroen C3 driven by a 64-year-old woman, also a resident of Attard.

The young individual received medical assistance and was transported to the hospital by ambulance.

It has now been confirmed that they had sustained grevious injuries.

Police investigations are still ongoing.
