A 20-year-old worker from Guinea has been rushed to hospital after being injured during a fall from a height at a school in Fgura.

The incident happened at around 8:35am this morning at a school in Triq il-Kitba, Fgura. The man, who was doing work related to painting in the school, ended up falling a storey and a half while he was working on scaffolding.

It is as yet unknown what led to the fall.

The man was taken to hospital by ambulance where he was confirmed to have been grievously injured and was given medical assistance.
