21-Year-Old Ħamrun Resident Arrested After Alleged Car Thefts
A 21-year-old Ethiopian man was arrested earlier today after allegedly stealing from several cars in Swieqi and Pembroke.
At around 1am this morning, police received reports of a suspicious man walking around some vehicles.
Two officers who were on patrol immediately went to the scene and found the man in Triq Mons. Alfredo Mifsud in Pembroke.
He was arrested and multiple objects were found in his possession which later turned out to be stolen from some vehicles.
Police investigations are still ongoing.
