Four people were rushed to Mater Dei hospital last night following a road accident in Msida last night.

The accident involved a Hyundai Tucson driven by a 36-year-old Somali man from St Paul’s Bay and a BMW 320CD Sport driven by a 22-year-old from Ħamrun.

A 27-year-old woman from Mosta and a 22-year-old woman from Sliema were passengers in the Hyundai Tucson.

All four people were rushed to hospital by ambulance where it was later certified that the 22-year-old man was suffering from life-threatening injuries while the other three were suffering from minor injuries.

Police investigations are still ongoing.
