22-Year-Old Żebbuġ Driver Hospitalised After Late Night Crash
A 22-year-old man from Żebbuġ has been hospitalised after a traffic collision in the same locality.
Police were called to Triq L-Imdina, Żebbuġ, at around 9.45pm last night following a crash between a Renault Megan Classic and a Toyota Dyna.
A 19-year-old male from Żurrieq and an 18-year-old from Żebbuġ were also riding as passengers in the Renault, driven by the 22-year-old.
A 25-year-old was driving the Toyota Dyna.
A medical team as well as members of the Civil Protection Department were called in to assist in the accident.
The 22-year-old driver was taken to hospital via ambulance. He was certified to be suffering grievous injuries.
Police investigations are underway.
