A 23-year-old woman tragically died after falling five storeys off a balcony in St Paul’s Bay early this morning.

Police said in a statement that they were called in at around 2am following reports that a 23-year-old Polish woman had fallen off a balcony in Triq is-Simar.

The young woman was rushed to hospital but succumbed to her injuries.

An autopsy on the body ruled out the possibility of foul play but investigations are ongoing.
