A 25-year-old Danish man died earlier this morning after being hit by a car in St Julian’s.

The police were informed of the incident that occurred on Triq Mikiel Anton Vassalli this morning at 2.20am.

From the initial investigations, it was revealed that the 25-year-old had been hit by a Honda Accord driven by a 44-year-old man, resident in Mosta.

A medical team was called to assist however the Danish man was certified dead on site.

Police investigations are still ongoing.
