A 25-year-old man is at risk of dying after losing control of his quad bike while driving in Xewkija, Gozo.

The incident occurred at around 2pm earlier today along Triq il-Kav. Lorenzo Zammit Haber in Xewkija, Gozo. 

Upon visiting the site of the incident, police were told that the man was driving a quad bike Polaris Trail Blazer when it overturned and caused serious injuries.

A medical team and an ambulance were called on site which transported the man to Gozo General Hospital, where it was certified that he’s at risk of dying.

Magistrate Simone Grech is leading an inquiry.
