A 28-year-old man has died after what appears to be a fall from height in San Ġwann.

Police were called to Triq Sant’Antnin at around 11.45pm last night, where the man, an Indian national who lived in the area, was found lying in the street in front of the apartment block where he resided.

Initial investigations suggest that the man may have fallen from a height, although the circumstances are still being established.

A magisterial inquiry has been opened, led by Magistrate Philip Galea Farrugia, and investigations are ongoing.

More details are expected as the case develops.
