31-Year-Old Maltese Man At Risk Of Dying After Fall While Working On St Paul’s Bay Hotel
A 31-year-old Maltese man is at risk of dying after he fell down a storey while he was working on a hotel in St Paul’s Bay.
The incident occurred at around 9am this morning along Dawret il-Qawra in St Paul’s Bay, where the Ħaż-Żebbuġ resident fell down a storey.
An ambulance was called on-site which transported the man to Mater Dei Hospital. It was later certified that he is fighting for his life.
Magistrate Victor Axiak is leading an inquiry, and the Occupational Health and Safety Authority is investigating.
