This follows a similar operation earlier this week in St. Julian’s and Paceville, where another 25 individuals from Syria, Nigeria, Ghana, Turkey, and India were detained for living or working without proper documentation.
All 45 individuals have been taken to a detention centre, where they will remain until the necessary procedures for their return are finalised.
These inspections are part of ongoing efforts to address irregular immigration in Malta.
