50-Year-Old Man Seriously Injured In Gozo Fight
A 50-year-old Maltese man is suffering serious injuries after a big fight broke out just after midnight in Żebbuġ, Gozo.
In a statement, the police said the incident was a result of a fight between the man and a group of people, most likely of a different nationality. At one point, the Maltese man suffered blows from a “hard object”, according to the police report.
The Maltese man, who lives in Żebbuġ, was taken to Gozo General Hospital and was found to be suffering serious injuries. The incident happened in Triq il-Wied, Żebbuġ.
Investigations are ongoing.
