52-Year-Old Man Stabbed In Pastizzeria As Police Investigate Luqa Suspect
A 52-year-old man from Birżebbuġa was stabbed earlier today whilst he was at a pastizzeria in Luqa.
The man went to the Luqa Police station seeking medical assistance at around 11 am. An ambulance was then called on-site and he was taken to Mater Dei Hospital for medical treatment. He was later certified as suffering from serious injuries due to the “sharp and pointed object” which was reportedly used in the attack.
The police are currently investigating a 44-year-old man from Luqa who is believed to have been involved in the incident.
